We offer Grin, a remote monitoring system, to our patients for Virtual Smile Checks – we can observe treatment, give feedback, and communicate in between regular visits.
Using a special mouthpiece that attaches to your cell phone camera (the Grin Scope), you can take scans of your teeth and bite at home and send them to us for review. You’ll get real time feedback from our team, and the Grin Care Specialists, without you needing to come to the office. Most patients send scans every week or two (we’ll let you know how often we want you to scan).
We check oral hygiene, track elastics wear, aligner fit, see if there are broken brackets, and more. We’re able to keep a closer eye on your treatment without additional appointments.
In the Grin App, you can use the Chat Box to contact Dr. Robb or Miki (our Patient Care Coordinator and Grin Guru), and every in-office visit, we will send any instructions we gave you in the office.
