Office Visits
Our goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you've always wanted. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure that your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible. We utilize the latest technology, offering a variety of safe and gentle treatment options to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.
Every smile starts with an initial consultation!
During your initial consultation, we will:
- Provide a complete oral exam, including a 3D X-ray, to determine whether treatment is necessary
- Dr. Thomas will explain his diagnosis, and give his recommendations
If treatment is recommended, we will explain the process, and give you information about your treatment. We will also review the financial agreement, including any insurance benefits, and payment options.

What happens after the initial consultation?
If we recommend observation to watch growth and development, we can schedule your next visit as recommended by Dr. Thomas.
If you are ready to begin, and you would like to start treatment with our office, we will schedule the appropriate appointment(s) needed for your initial treatment plan. The length of the initial appointment is based on your recommended treatment. We will provide timing information during the consultation appointment.
Scheduling Appointments
Once braces are on, visiting the orthodontist regularly is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Typically, it is about every six weeks between visits, though timing may vary depending on the specifics of your case. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you.
We understand that “life happens”! If you're running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. We look forward to working with you!
